Canned food is pressure cooked inside the can to preserve it. I don’t think all the people concerned about potential parasites need to be worrying about that.
It’s aesthetically undesirable but I dont believe this presented any actual risk. Even parasite cysts can’t survive pressure cooking.

Did the beans include pork? I think it’s more likely to be a weird looking piece of meat than a slug since beans are generally processed from dry ingredients.
